Trend Alert Thursdays: Holes in Clothes!

6/14/2017

Photo is from Pinterest and google.
I have been noticing that when a new piece of clothing is coming out, they always seem like there are holes in them, like it supposed to be a new style of something, But I would have to say, It can't be a style, because we are only limited to wear them. First of all, we can only wear them when we want to go out, we can't wear them to school or to work, because their is a dress code to these places. My question is why should I pay a high price for something when I am only limited to wear it at certain places. When I was in school, we were not to wear clothes that has holes or stains on them, if we did, we got sent home. With all the jobs that I had, We also could not wear holes and stains on the clothes. If our uniform, has holes or stains we had to get a new one. So My question is why create something when you are limited to certain buyers.
I never once wear clothes with holes in them, if my clothes start getting holes in them, I tend to throw them out, because they are unwearable now. Even if they are a trend to follow, but then again I don't follow trend, I never did and I won't now. I believe this trend has been out for a while, I believe almost 7 years. My guess is a trend will stay for like 10 years, then a new trend follows, So which means I have three more years to see this trend and it the trend that I hate, more like can't stand. I never know when or what coming out. My guess is I should really start stepping up my game.

This trend, I will follow for a while, until it dies down. I would like to know when someone going to do something that can make this trend more fashionable to those who don't like it and for those who only like it, because it a trend. So the question is what will someone do  for this trend and how will they style it, to make it fit for everyone and for those who don't like it and also for those are only buying it because a celebrity is wearing it. So why did someone design a piece that some of us been living with it for years and we always hated it. When I see holes in clothes, I think of being poor, because it what I am. I am not downgrading, it how I feel and now it feels like designers are making fun of us poor people, because some of us can't afford clothing that are in the $30 dollars range to the $1,000 range, I know I am one of those people who can not afford those prices and I don't want to be reminded of what I can't afford, because of where I am from. I know it not their intentions, and I am not going to downgrade them because of it, because some of them were poor and they like to be reminded of where they come from. All I have to say is I don't.
