Boo's and Spooks: Diy Fish Bowl Pumpkin

10/29/2018

I have never saw anyone make one of these Fish Bowl Pumpkin, until I saw one being made on HGTV YouTube channel. I instantly fell in love with it, because I thought it was cool, and also I like it in general, it beats all those little candy trays that we get or see at Halloween time. When it came to making something like this, I like it, and would I make it again. I would say, yes, I would. It was easy to made, all you need are simple items, which I think it would be cute if I would of made small pumpkins as well, but I did not. But I will next year for sure. Every Halloween, I get kinda stuck because I don't know what to make when it comes to diy or just anything. I always try to do my best.
When it comes to reality, I don't want to copy anyone, because I think we are all capable of creating our own, but I decided to make this because it was cute and I like it and it makes the candy trays look like they are there for decoration, while the pumpkin is sitting there laughing at the candy trays, because we chose him. The reason why is he is so cute. I love the fact that when HGTV made there, it was easy to make, which was fun. Let's take a peek of what you need in order to make this little guy.

Items you would need.

Fish Bowl (does not matter what size, you decide that one your own)
Black contact paper
green glitter paper for the stem, ( which I did not use) 2 of them
A stick to hold the stem
Scissors
Candy
Glue

Take your black contact paper and make a 3 triangles, 2 big for the eyes and a small one for the nose and you also need to make a mouth for your pumpkin. You need to take your fish bowl and put the face that you made on the fish bowl. Then you take your green glitter paper and make a stem, then you take your stick and you put your stem that you made on the stick by glue the stem on each side of the stick. You need to put your candy in the pumpkin fill all the way to the top then put your stem in the middle to look like a pumpkin. I have link the video down at the bottom, please take a look at, so you can get the feel of how it was made.

Spooky Delicious: Pumpkin Spice Cookies!

10/25/2018

When it comes to fall, there are certain things that I see that should be fall appropiate when it comes to the food baking. I see cookies, there are so many cookies out there that have flavor like for example, cinnamon, caramel, and pumpkin spice. I see those flavors that should be for fall. I love cookies that taste good, which not alot of sugar, cause to me that overdoing it. It basically takes out the taste of the flavor of the cookie. During fall or should I say Halloween, I like to make cookies, that represent the holiday that it in. So this year I made Pumpkin Spice Cookies, which were good. I like them. So I decided to share them with you and show you how to make them. They are quite easy. So let's take a peek of what you need.

Items you would need:
1) Sugar Cookies dough
2) Pumpkin Spice Seasoning
3) Butter
4) Cookies Sheet
5) Preheat your oven

When it comes to making these, they are quite fun to make. When I make them, I made the Sugar Cookies dough first, which you can go to your cake aisle at your local grocery store and pick it up. Making these cookies, are easy, especially when you dont really have the time to make it the way you want it. If you are gluten free and want sugar free, there should be some that has gluten and sugar free, (Note: just look closely to the label). When it you get done mixing the sugar cookies, just add the pumpkin spice and start mixing again. When you get done, just roll out the dough and start making your cookies, with me, I simply roll them into a ball and put them on a cookie  sheet. It was easy, and I like the way that they turn out. So if you decide to make them, Please use #pumpkinspicecs or #pumpkincaptivatestyles

Style Diaries: October Trend Style!

10/22/2018

When it comes to October we are all ready for that fall wardrobe, especially when we all can go and buy the new trend that are coming out. I am not much of a trend girl. I like the fact that I can easily go in my closet and create new items, which I love. But I like the fact that if I need something, I just can put something together. There one thing about trends that I can't stand is that there are trends everyday, inorder to be accepted you must follow that trend, which  to be honest, I don't care about being accepted and also I don't care about trends, because I think it just a waste of money. So I decided to create something  that you can create from your own closet. I know some of you may have the same exact item or you might have something similar or something like it. So here are a couple of looks for you.

1)  There is no surprise that we all have something like this is our closet. I know I do. Well not exactly, like it, but I have something similar and I like it. I like the fact that this outfit can go either way, it can be wore for any season.

2)  I love this outfit, it brings fall to your wardrobe. It means that fall is actually here. I may not like brown, because I don't, but this look, bring out the fall like it should. I like the look I would wear it.
3)  I think this look is perfect for fall, I like the look, that it brings to the whole wardrobe. I don't see this look at all, when it comes to styling. Which I don't know why. I like this look and yes, I would wear it for fall and winter.

4) This look is something this should be wore for all seasons, because it that type of look that should be wore for all seasons. I would wore this look. I would also separate the pieces that are in the look to create a whole new look.

5) When it came this look, I wasn't sure about it, bit I took pieces from other looks to create this fall look, and I love how it turn out, because it can be wore for fall or winter. Plus it matches from head to toe.

Boo's & Spooks: Fall home decor diy (part 2)

10/17/2018

When it comes to dressing up your home for fall, it comes to my attention that some of you are having a hard time coming to the point to when to decorate your home, with me, I always decorate in the middle of September. But I have decided that I will start decorating in the middle of August, because I don't want my fall decor or Halloween decor together anymore, I am going to start separating them, which will be a good thing, because it will give me more time to decorate for fall and Halloween. Since this year, I have been behind on fall and Halloween this year, But I won't be behind on Christmas. So when I was doing some diy for fall and Halloween. I decided to do things different this year. I have decided to go beyond what I could do. So I created something that you guys could use in your home. So let's a peek on what I have for you.

The items you would need:
1) Leaf Tray
2) Faux Leaves
3) Faux Pumpkins
4) Glue

What you need to do, is take your leaf tray, and take your faux and pumpkins and arrange them to however you like, but make sure it the way that you want  them to be. Also make sure you glue them down, because sometimes it does not always work. So please make sure you test out alot of glue to make sure that they stay. When I done it, I went though alot of glue, but then I found the right one, which ones you might ask, e6000, but I wasn't to sure if I wanted to use it, because I didn't want to glue the leaves or the pumpkins permanent on the leaf tray. But anyway, when you do this, make sure it what you want.

Are you going to do this project? If so, please share photos and also please use the #captivatestylesdiy.

So as I learned along the way is to put my skin at risk, So I did in order to know what products wont and which ones that don't. To tell you all, I have sensitive and acne prone skin, which is not good at all, because I have to be careful which products that I can use and which ones I can not. In order for me to know, I have to use all and put my skin at risk, which is not a good thing to do. I have never thought I would go thought this problem, but now I am a little older, I will. When dealing with acne prone and sensitive skin it kinda hard, especially in the winter, because I have clear skin and I don't have a problem breaking out, sometimes it all depends on the product that I am using, which is kind of a pain.

2) Garnier Whole Blends Oats & Delicacy

When it came to using this shampoo and conditioner. I was a little afraid of using it, because I didnt want to break out with a rash or something, but once I started using it, there was no turning back. I instantly fell in love. It woke up my hair, like it been sleeping for a while. I am glad that I use this product.

3) St Ives Blemish Control

This product will never leave my side, It helps take care of blemishes. This is the product that everyone should be using. I decided to start using it when I saw it at my local drugstore, because it said blemish control, which I totally love. I will not go without this product, This product will always be by my side. It my go to product.

4) Gillette Satin Care Ultra Sensitive

When I first began using this product I simply fell in love because I love the fact it made my skin the way that it should. Every time I shave my legs without this product, I always tend to get little bumps on my legs which I never knew what they would cause from. Now I found a product where I don't have problem.

5) Nature Boundy Hair, nails and skin

I love this product. I think it tastes more like candy then it does with vitamins. I love this product and I would recommend this product to anyone. I also would like to say that this product works, but you should be taken it  3 times daily, and not what it said on the bottle. If you really want it to work.

Beauty Note: Fall Essentials!

10/10/2018

When it comes to fall, there is no holding back, because fall is one of my favorite seasons. During my time as a blogger, I never saw Fall as a something as what bloggers do or something. I saw fall as Indian summer, because it always still warm out during this time. After blogging for 5 years now, I have decided to do something a little different when it comes to fall and the other seasons. I won't be doing what other fashion bloggers do, I won't be taking pictures of myself wearing something that is fall worthy or winter worthy, I will be showing you looks that you can easily go to the store to buy, you can either go to your local thrift store to buy the items, they will be the same, but different brands. I am that type of blogger that is not about the luxury of items, because I think that is a waste of money, there is no value after you buy it, you can't get your money back. There is no money making for reselling. When it comes to fall favorites, I never have any problems looking for what I love, especially when it comes to beauty products. I may have acne prone sensitive skin, but that does not stop me from having products that I can love. So let's take a peek of what I have for you.
1) Elf Daily Moisturizer
When it comes to elf, I do highly recommend this product, because it will make your face smooth and I actually like it. After a couple of times using it,  you  can tell that it actually works. Which some products do take time to show what they are suppose to do.
2) Oats and Delicacy
I am not sure about anyone else and what goes on with their hair. When it comes to my hair, I have to use a moisture and gentle shampoo and conditioner. When I first started using I fell in love with it, and now I can't live without it. If you start using it, you will see the different in your hair.

3)  Face Masks
When it comes to using face masks, I don't love them that much, because sometimes the label said, don't using it you have blemishes on your face and I don't like it. So I learn that if I can't use them, because of my blemishes then I won't buy them. But other then that, they are some good masks, I like them. You will see a big different when it comes to using them.
4)  Hair Vitamins
There are so many Hair vitamins out there, that none of don't know which ones to choose, So I have decided that if I have to order it online, then it not the one for me, because with me, I like to read the label, to see what is in it. I am very picky on what I out in my body. When it comes to nature's bounty hair skin and nails, you have to remember they are not candy, they are vitamins that is taken for your hair. which I love.
5) Gillette sensitive shave creme
When I use to shave my legs I always get these little bumps on my legs, but after using this sensitive creme, I don't anymore, which is pretty cool. So when it comes to this product I do recommend it.

There are so many products out there that we all love, but sometimes we can't always use the same products that we use in the summer for fall, because our skin starts to change along with the weather. These are the products that I recommend for fall essentials. So please check them out if you would like to see if it works for your skin.

Hello October, I am please that you came. You are going to be spooky this month. Since it Halloween month, which I honestly loved. I have decided that I am going to be doing some Halloween decor and fall decor, which I already have my house decorated for fall and Halloween. When it comes to Halloween, I wish I could see all the spooky things within the 31 days we do have. I know I love the fact that Halloween is with fall. I love the fact that we get to wear fall items now which is a little cool, because in Michigan we are in the temps where it cold now, which it fine, excepts for there are no leaves on the ground like it should be. When it comes to Halloween and fall, I have the most complex goodies coming up this month, which is a good thing. So let's take a peek of what I have coming your way this month.

Happy Halloween, who in the Halloween spirit? just like I am. Well this month on the blog is going to be fill with everything fall and Halloween, as well as breast cancer awareness month. I will be showing you from Style tips to Style Advice for fall. I will also be showing you some costumes that will be on everyone rader to the simple costumes. I will also be showing you some delicious treats from pumpkin spice muffins to pumpkin spice cookies. I will also be showing you some home decor diy for halloween. I will also be showing some fall decor. I will also be showing you some fall favorites to fall looks that I like. I will also be showing you fall essentials that you should have this fall to travel essentials.  There one thing that I will be showing you that every  women should have in their bag to must have handbags for fall.
